  1. Great boots Review by Triumph Thunderbird

Boots look great, feel very comfortable with a quality insert. I used my Asolo inserts. Velcro will have to be replaced soon and boots are less than 2 yrs old. With dress pants expect to bend over and untuck cuff from back of boot. An inch taller would be perfect. I like a shined boot and these do not take a good shine but that's just me. But - I have received numerous compliments so I proudly wear them everywhere. (Posted on 3/5/2013)

I bought these with the expection I'd to wear them to work with dress slacks, shirt and tie. Yes, they look beautiful. I'm ok with the leather & rubber trim pieces. These details are well done and help protect the boots leather at the 'shift' points.

I have to say I'm REALLY dissappointed with the protection and the cheesey sole. For $270 + shipping, I would have expected top-notch sole instead you get of a thin, gummy-like generic sole... like something you'd see on cheap old hiking boots. I've ridden a week and the center soles are half WORN!

    Besides being over-the-ankle boots...there isn't added protection.
The zipper closure is flimsy too, and likely to break if you're not paying attention when 'zipping' up.

An Attractive fashion boot, but definitely NOT for riding. (Posted on 5/11/2012)

  3. Lots of style but... Review by BMW Rider

Extremely comfortable boots out of the box. However, because the boots are made of calf skin I doubt they would hold-up in a crash and/or heavy use. I rode approximately 500 miles on my BMW one weekend and noticed the soles were beginning to wear prematurely. The toe box on the left boot is starting to "bubble" as well (maybe from all the shifting). I wear a size 11 from running shoes to dress shoes to boots so I ordered a size 45 (normally equivalent to a size 11 US). They fit like an 11.5. I added insoles to alleviate some of the extra room. Bottom line the boots are extremely attractive and form nicely to your foot. You will get plenty of compliments for style. But if you're expecting a "real" motorcycle boot that protects your feet and are durable, I would invest in something else. (Posted on 4/21/2012)

I ordered these boots and have worn them out riding maybe 15 times. They are beautiful. However, I have two issues with them. They are not big enough to comfortably tuck your leathers in and also, they are falling apart pretty quickly. The leather itself has been strong but the sole of the shoe is starting to break away exposing the wood beneath it. I'd say I am about 30% through their lifespan at the moment! They wont last me the summer at this rate. Boots are obviously not Belstaff's Forte! (Posted on 7/13/2011)

Very cool looking boot! Under motorcycle pants or jeans... on the bike or off. Very comfortable and true fit to sizing. Very solid on the bike and just as easy to walk in as any regular boot. High quality product.

Even better than the boot was the service from the BMG folks. Great communication, fast shipping (even to Canada) and no surprises.

    Thanks BMG! (Posted on 5/5/2011)

  6. Loving the fit! Review by MisioSoup

Just to be open and transparent, I haven't actually rode on a motorcycle yet. I will be taking a course soon and so that's why I got these boots.

I liked their style and ordered them just to see how they fit.

Now, I may not be a motorcycle expert, but I have worn a lot of boots and shoes. And all I can say is, wow! Italians sure know how to make shoes. You're paying a bit of chunk change, but you're definitely getting your money's worth in terms of fit.

So, I've yet to test them on the bike itself and in terms of durability, only time will tell. But for now, they get 4/5 for me.

Why did it loose a star? Well, I didn't think that the picture accurately represented the substantial difference between the leather portion and the rubber portion of the boot. There's quite a bit difference and I was a bit disappointed to see that when they arrived.

Am I being to critical or harsh. I'd like to think not.

In conclusion, they look pretty good for motorcycle boots (majority are just butt ugly), but I can't imagine finding another boot that will fit better than this one. (Posted on 4/14/2011)
