Belstaff Pure Motorcycle Ankle Boots
- Product Review (submitted on April 14, 2011):
Just to be open and transparent, I haven't actually rode on a motorcycle yet. I will be taking a course soon and so that's why I got these boots.
I liked their style and ordered them just to see how they fit.
Now, I may not be a motorcycle expert, but I have worn a lot of boots and shoes. And all I can say is, wow! Italians sure know how to make shoes. You're paying a bit of chunk change, but you're definitely getting your money's worth in terms of fit.
So, I've yet to test them on the bike itself and in terms of durability, only time will tell. But for now, they get 4/5 for me.
Why did it loose a star? Well, I didn't think that the picture accurately represented the substantial difference between the leather portion and the rubber portion of the boot. There's quite a bit difference and I was a bit disappointed to see that when they arrived.
Am I being to critical or harsh. I'd like to think not.
In conclusion, they look pretty good for motorcycle boots (majority are just butt ugly), but I can't imagine finding another boot that will fit better than this one.
